For the short opinion piece that this is, I have to say, that, I like it, and would love to read or hear the whole speech that it refers to. Although this article is very short I feel that the writer got her point across to the general public. It was informative and gave enough detail about the issue, yet it also left the reader wanting to know more of what was said in the speech on immigration. The only downfall of this article to me was that there could have been more detail to support the writer’s opinion. I find that this piece was useful but somewhat vague. Overall I do suggest that you read this woman’s opinion along with the original article by Adam Serwer from the American Prospect. It was a great piece of journalism ... More »
