Through brinkmanship North Korea is warning the Americans not to forget about its existence and, it thinks, putting pressure on the United States to change its supposedly hostile policy towards North Korea. It is a reminder of just how much the tinpot dictatorship hates to be ignored. Full Story »

It's not that hard to identify pure propaganda. Notice the name calling in this piece? Apparently North Korea should give up it's A bombs for promises of massive aid and investment even though these promises weren't kept at all after North Korea shut it's A bomb program down. The article mentions that inter-Korean agreements were not kept by Lee Myung-bak, but fictionalizes Kim as a 'brinksman' to explain his outrage as if there is no good reason to be incensed. This is exactly the kind of journalism that makes imperialism possible.
North Korea shut down it's A bomb program (UN VERIFIED) immediately after the US made promises of aid and investment, but the promises were never kept. Relations between North and South Korea were very good until a Conservative was elected in the south. It's hard to steal resources, money and land from North Korea, and that is why relations with that country are not good. All wars result from one side trying to steal resources, money, or land.
A good report that try's to analyze the mind of the master of illusion, Kim Jong 11. Many people try to get inside the head of Jong, but like his father, he's a mystery. While at times acting like a child on a hissy fit, the man does have a nuclear weapon's program, that has an unknown arsenal to go with it. Tread lightly.
With the news ( or gossip) that he has health problems, let's hope he doesn't want to go out with a BANG.
