Terrorist groups have many 'safe havens' to operate from, not only failed countries where there is no law and order, but we know that they can hide among the ordinary population in any country. So, with little funds in the government, I ask if President Obama will put all his 'eggs in one basket', which is Afghanistan. I think we need together with allies figure out a containment policy instead of using thousands of troups to quell the Taliban and Al-Quida by counterinsurgence. Our soldiers are bad equipped to 'operate' effiencently in a culture they know very little about and cannot communicate with. We were in Somaila, first to stop the famine, but then to the UN created UNISOM. But after Black Hawk, US left and UNISOM was not able to operate much longer after that. Maybe we shouldn't have but stayed put?
