A very interesting and solid assessment of the situation in the Middle East. Miller is both experienced and realistic in this well-done interview. The interviewer doesn't try to elicit answers, but the questions he asks hints of his extensive knowledge of the subject , but not his own opinions about the answers. There is no hint about the raging passions on every side of the problem, but we are all too much aware of those already.

I really enjoy this kind of professional work which brings to me an appreciation of the subject I can't possibly obtain on my own. The world is facing immense obstacles to peace in the region, and all sane people are hoping that the Obama Administration will succeed in changing US policy there for the better, because if they don't, a major portion of their foreign policy will fail.
