This reminds me of 9-11, when the firefighters couldn't get in touch with the police, the Police couldn't get in touch with the FBI, and the CIA was just lost. After nearly eight years , what advancement has the Big Dog, the Homeland Security done to make communicating with each other viable.

They need to get up with David Bowie: Cha, cha, cha, Changes.

The writer does an excellent job with attribution and facts, but I think he is a little too pessimistic and hard on the new president.

Yes, because it examines and clearly lays out the issues surrounding an area of public interest: how we can bring the processes of our government up to speed with modern technology and social processes.

I know that it will be a difficult process, but it is necessary. The Internet is the wave of the future, not just for the US, but for the world. In order to be competitive our government has to be able to function in a wired environment.

The story feels a bit biased to me, as though possibly some personal skepticism on the part of the writer is getting in the way of producing a nuanced story.
