Excellent, detailed review of last-minute "midnight regulations" created by George W. Bush, and the Obama administration's intention to stop, block or reverse them. Notable for its simplified-but-clear explanation of the intricate rules and points of procedure required to undo regulations that have gone into effect.

As a dyed-in-the-wool, tree-hugging fan of clean air, drinkable water, and national parks without concealed weapons, I fully confess that I'm rooting for Obama and the new Congress to wipe the slate clean of W's catastrophic environmental policies. Leave it to the "anti-regulation, anti-government" ex-president to use his powers to impose severely damaging 'anti-regulation regulations' in his waning moments in office. While not new, this story advances the calculated effort by Bush & thugs, to add riches to their big-time donor's and friends. Do they not realize it will their children and grand children that may die of the cancerous chemical's that will be in the air and water.

The concealed gun law is especially puzzling. Who want's to be having a picnic, when some moron pull's out a Glock, and starts killing people, because someone took his parking space. This had to come from quick-draw Cheney.
