2007: Web 2.0 Companies I Couldn't Live Without

I enjoyed sorting through the hundreds of startups that we had written about, and picking just a handful that made a real impact on my life. It was so much fun, actually, that I'm updating the list this year.

It's a good article except that it's very much an insider's article. Mike assumes you track all these categories and know, to some extent, what each is. The casual reader will need to follow a lot of links to the coverage on other pages. Just a few more words of description for each might have been a huge improvement.
