Gaza cease-fire lets Palestinians cautiously recover bodies

Hamas follows Israel in declaring a truce. Israeli troops begin pulling back near border. Gaza toll rises to at least 1,300, a third of the dead reportedly children.

Palestinian medical authorities said, raising the death toll among residents of the coastal strip to at least 1,300, with thousands more wounded and left homeless.
