The great American presidents have emerged from the great challenges. This is a literate opinion piece, full of hope, that made me as an Obama supporter feel good. However, I don't believe that the writer makes his points of courage and unique skill very convincingly. It might better be titled "Obama has the talents of a great leader," since the qualities of courage and practical skill are not demonstrated in the piece.
