Children 'paying price of Gaza war'

Children are bearing the brunt of Israel's war on the Gaza Strip, the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) has said.

More than 300 children have been killed and hundreds more wounded in Israel's aerial and ground assault, Ann Veneman, Unicef's executive director, said in a statement released on Wedneday. Full Story »

Sources are named. Reports are given from both sides. The disproportionality of the trauma is not explicitly addressed, but is somewhat obvious from the reporting.

Yes it's a story, but it seems a bit thin. Without sounding callous, there needs to be more news. If the story is about how the children are being affected by the war, it should be made into a feature piece with more comment from both sides and more in-depth information.
