Press TV - Hamas accepts Egyptian truce: Spain

Spain says the Hamas movement has accepted an Egyptian proposal for a cease-fire to put an end to Israel's military aggression in Gaza.

"Hamas is going to publicly express its support and acceptance," Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos told the reporters Wednesday after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Full Story »

I give this high marks for being informative because I haven't seen this anywhere else. Apparently 5 sources, but 2 are anonymous (unless Tel Aviv is someone's name). Oddly, the photo caption states a fact that is not supported by the story. Otherwise, this is a basic press announcement accompanied by a reasonable amount of context. Missed here is the fact that most Israelis polled say they would only accept a truce deal that includes the release of Gilad Shalit.

This is the first I've seen this announcement and I've looked around online not coming across it. I could have just missed it or this is the sole one carrying it, or brave enough to publish it.
