This British rabbi's prayer speaks up for an end to the violence: a much needed call for peace.

I believe that "truth" is hard to find in this situation, and prefer to discuss "facts." The incontrovertible fact is that approximately 100 Palestinians are killed in Gaza for every one Israeli death, and the ratio of grievously injured is even worse. A brief, but eloquent plea for peace, it seems undercut somewhat by his repetitive comments about Hamas and its "culture of death." How can he understand the pain of constant threat and death on one side, and not the other? This article is also linked to a sidebar of articles that present a wider view of developments in and around the conflict in Gaza--on topics that have received little attention in the U.S. media.
