I read with interest the Jan. 6 article, “Iowa banks apply for ‘troubled asset’ funds,” by Bob Zientara, referring to the government bailout, “Troubled Assets Relief Program,” or TARP, which I have labeled “The Traitorous American Robbery Program.”

Interesting article about the TARP bailout program and how it affects American citizens, particularly in Iowa. The author cites a number of articles from credible sources to support his reasonable concern that the lack of accountability and transparency in the TARP program doesn't serve the public interest and ought to be investigated further.

As with everything that happens in Washington, this to shall see the light of day. Will there be Congressional Oversite Committee's?As Sarah would say "You Betcha". Will there be outrage "You Betcha". Will anything be done about it. I wonder what Sarah would say.

The recent reports that i've seen have Emperor Paulson giving the money to banks, who buy weaker banks, who lay people off, so they don't need a bank. Brilliant!!
