He wishes he could have succeeded in destroying social security and putting retirement money in the stock market at the top of the bubble. The scandal around Abu Ghraib was disappointing, not his moral depravity in enabling it. His only question on Katrina was whether to land his airplane there or not? Illegal war only damages us among some of the elite? Iraq did disclose and disarm.

The report added little to the interview. The interview is only enlightening in that it shows Bush's dissociation from reality and his continued joy on painting rosey lipstick on ugly pigs. I share his happiness that he is leaving office. But is there an appropriate prison in Crawford?
