Bush’s legacy: Negative or too soon to tell?

When President-elect Barack Obama places his hand on Abraham Lincoln's Bible Jan. 20 to take the oath of office, he'll relieve George W. Bush of a two-term presidency that saw him achieve both the highest and third-lowest Gallup poll approval ratings.

So what will be the legacy of the man whose approval peaked at 90 percent with the invasion of Afghanistan and tanked with the economy to a lowly 25 percent?

An Internet version of the "person-on-the-street" report, where a reporter randomly samples opinions from passers-by; here, passers-by in cyberspace self-select to offer their opinions on the Bush legacy. The reporter successfully shares a range of opinions. Sourcing is minimal; even though we know the commenters' user names, we know nothing about their demographics. Therefore, we know that there are differing opinions presented, but we don't know how authentic or true they are.
