It is hard to be completely accurate and completely fair when writing about Israel and Palestine. Though this article includes some Palestinian history and views, it principally stands by an Israeli/US government view. The effect of the current slaughter upon other states in the region is not treated.

The link gives an audio/video 14 minute tour of the history of the conflicted area from the Council of Foreign Relations. I recommend it.

Excellent primer on the Israeli-Palestinian, giving a somewhat fresh perspective on this tortured conflict.
