The story and allegations are absolutely true. I know this because I am a former member who was kicked out for asking uncomfortable questions like, "If you can control matter and energy as you claim to be able to teach me, why do you need so much of my money?" Unfortunately, like the French woman who brought suit, I asked too late. They'd already swindled my ex-husband out of most of what we had. I saw them con people out of far more with members selling houses, businesses, cars, and more to give to the "church." I was frankly disgusted by the last bit that talked about the U.S. State Department putting pressure on European countries who rightly seek to protect their citizens against these predators.
