Poll: Public negative on Bush legacy

As President Bush prepares to leave office, U.S. citizens tend to see his legacy as negative, a poll released Wednesday said.
The Gallup Poll found Bush gets positive ratings on AIDS and many people say race relations improved during his presidency. But that last finding appears to be a result of the election of Barack Obama as his successor and not from any action of the president.

Public so negative? Why didn't the public impeach Bush? Too much trouble? That makes the public complicit in Bush crimes. That is why Americans are hated around the world. yet this story says nothing about remedies that could have prevented this.
