Interesting report about some of the ways in which liberals are celebrating Bush's departure in the Bay Area. The article is factual in its enumeration of different events planned in coming weeks, but doesn't offer much context - nor does it provide perspectives from the right and center, or from independent sources. It would also be interesting to look into the psychology underlying these these anti-Bush events, and compare it with other similar events in world history, and addressing

My wife and I are also considering a house party at the end of this month, but our focus will be on celebrating the rise of a new administration that inspires millions by supporting shared values such as fairness, tolerance, respect of human rights and common decency.
