This piece almost rises to vitriol---written by an U.S. reporter living in Mumbai. Although I have listed it as news analysis, as that is what it purports to be, it has an underlying opinion. What makes it interesting, however, are the links the writer has selected from Indian coverage of Bush over time--on the Indo-US nuclear deal and an interview with Bush by the corporation's U.S. paper, India Abroad. Also interesting are the comments, which reflect the Hindu-Muslim tensions in the country.

While it's a mere recitation of events during the beginning of Bush's term, it'instructive to recall long past events and their relation to one another.
