Classic journalism. A good story supported by interviews, research, and accounts of individual experiences. Troubling journalism. If this country is the real battleground of terrorism, the absolute corruption of everyone in leadership of a government “taken over by drug traffickers” may doom America’s role to a fate similar to Iraq. After all, it was Afghanistan, not Reagan, that was really a major factor in the fall of Communist Russia.

Wholesale corruption. Everything in the country for sale. Reminds one of Cheney and Bush.

This article cites extensive evidence from multiple sources, and provides useful context to shed lights on this critical issue for Afghanistan.
