China favors jobs at home over freer trade
with the economic downturn in full effect, China is scrambling back toward the riverbank. The government has reversed itself on tax rebates and other export-friendly policies, restoring perks it had only recently scrapped. Full Story »

Whenever I read about the Chinese economy, it seems like if they fall everyone falls. That's not necessarily true. The American's need tariff's raised on the Chinese if they continue to sell their goods at low or even below prices that anyone who pays decent pay to it's worker's can afford.
