I wouldn't call it journalism, but I have been keeping track of this new organization which seems pointed in the right direction if there is to be much hope for peace and democracy in this world, and I like what Ben-Ami has to say.

Israel seems bent on following the example of America under the Bush administration. Though Cheney is only popular with some 20% of Americans, they must be the right Americans. We know that percentage of a population can take power and hold it, but we also know that oppression, terrorism, and coersion eventually decay into greed, decadence, and failure. Good statement by an organization very sympathetic to Israel but well aware Israeli policy as encouraged by the US is not in Israel's own best interests, in massive attackis like the current one in Gaza and the 2006 smashing of Lebanon.

The militaristic approach will inevitably lead ultimately to Israel's failure as a Jewish state; the Arab peace plan needs to be accepted in full - - meaning Israel gets entirely out of the Golan Heights and the West Bank.
