This story reports the street reaction in the Arab world, rather than just the partisan statements from the US and Israel.

The disproportionate force being imposed upon Gaza is not just an issue for the Gaza Prison that Israel is creating, but is an issue for any hopes for peaceful negotiations throughout the middle east. The street impact is an important part of this news event.
