One more major statement coming from The Union of Concerned Scientists, revealing proof of political interference in science. The pleas are thoroughly formulated and the initiative is wonderfully and responsibly organized. A both brave and honest position and initiative coming from the intellectual elite of America supported by the world's science community. An example to be followed and implemented everywhere. Fully sourced piece with lots of references, as one couldn't expect less from the scientific rigor.
