this is a 'sky is falling' opinion from a psychiatrist turned social critic about the inevitable consequences if we have a public health care system. most of his predictions sound quite unreasonable and unrealistic, including active" euthanasia for medically expensive children", altho some, for example, " increased birth control and slower population growth", may become reality and be beneficial. but he presents each and all of them as going to "unleash dreadful moral consequences on our society and on ourselves as individuals".
