Quite a shocking story. Poor historical description of the island. Fails to describe what will happen now that the archipelago is a Ntional Monument. Includes pictures. Single source.

Describe desctruction of the island ecosystem over 100 years ago, and declaration of Bird Sanctuary status by Theodore Roosevelt in 1906.
