Thoughtful and persuasive argument against President-Elect Obama's indicated plan to "give a speech from a Muslim capital in his first 100 days." Authors Roy and Vaisse present a broader understanding of Islam and a clear differentiation between Islam as a faith, and the politics of terror.

As a nation, we have been led down the wrong path since 9/11/2001. Political rhetoric and a desire among "leaders" to pursue economic ambitions has persuaded us that Islam and "terrorism" are the same, that "Islamic terrorists" are a cause for global war.
