a story which adds a disturbing point to the economic situation. here is pointed out that the book distribution models have been slowly changing while the major publishers did not. this is similar to criticism of the newspaper business and of the automakers industry, yet not mentioned: without a historical/hindsight perspective almost everything which changes can be victim. change can be loss as much or more as it is gain.
