Scientists Hack Cellphone to Analyze Blood, Detect Disease, Help Developing Nations

A new MacGyver-esque cellphone hack could bring cheap, on-the-spot disease detection to even the most remote villages on the planet. And who say's American ingenuity is dead. A good article informs, and this one does.

This is an outstanding invention that could in the long term save millions of lives. My hat's off to the scientists at UCLA.
