A federal judge threw the book at a Miami doctor accused of Medicare fraud, sentencing her to three decades in prison.
Insisting she was not guilty of Medicare fraud, a convicted Miami physician sobbed Wednesday as she begged a federal judge for mercy. Instead, she got a 30-year prison sentence.

Can someone please explain to me how the politicians on both sides of the issue of medicare, refuse to even consider doing like the Veterans Admin., and negotiate for the use of generic drugs for Senior's and the disabled. The billions saved by government could be used to produce thousands of jobs. The lobbyist's from the drug companies are making millions working both sides of the road.
