Trying to write about hot buttoned issues is like trying to put on two left shoes, you can get them on, but they will never fit good. A well written piece on a controversial issue, and I love reading about controversial issues.

I'm not sure how to come down on this issue. While I agree with the gay-rights activists, and do think Obama could have picked someone less opinionated on the subject, he's really in a box. No matter who Obama picks to deliver this benediction , he's wrong. Be it White, Black, Red, Catholic, Jew, or Muslim. Be it gunrights, Abortion rights, Immigration rights or environmental rights. No one is going to be happy no matter who he selects. President Obama, welcome to the real world.
