After the good/bad pun in the title, this is a thoughtful and through tour through the Iraq war and present situation.

The supposedly triumphant tour through Iraq and Afghanistan is like a deja vu of the "Mission Accomplished" staging from a few years back. The spinning and the lies are getting even thicker, and this article is a good pushback. There is a movement to package up boxes of shoes and ship them to Bush in sympathy with the Iraqis. Perhaps 1 million pair for the dead Iraqis, plus 5 million for the refugees. And perhaps a few million more for those with post traumatic stress syndrome.
