An opinion piece from the right, this article sets up multiple straw horses and then proceeds to beat them down with glee. The author states facts without references to back them up.

I'm submitting this story to show that the trumped up Obama/Muslim issue seems to still have legs within the conservative audience. This story therefore seems relevant to Religion and Politics issue NT is focusing on this week.

This opinion piece wanders all over the place and one wonders what point the writer is trying to make.

I urge Obama to visit Cairo and Damascus, as early in his administration as possible. Taheri is being silly when he argues that visiting Cairo would be an endorsement of repression.
