The article gives the opinions of various observers as to the fate of the Tribune's reporting future. Those who whistle optimistically as the finances are crumbling strain credulity. The story misses the allegation that Fitzgerald had to rush his going public with charges and was denied an event of the transfer of hot cash for his prosecution by the Tribune insisting upon publishing their story rather than waiting.

It seems to me that the Tribune was doing a good job of investigating Blagojevich, even with economic problems and threats from the Blowhard.

I read that Blagojevich had an aid that carried the "Football", his hairbrush. When he was'nt there with it Blag would through a fit. How much money was passed around to get this moron elected.
