Consider the source: Washington Times is not any more credible than Fox News. Second, note that the article does not contain a by-line. Third, it completely ignores the 1,000,000 or so people killed by US/coalition forces in Iraq, 95% or more whom were Muslims. Dourth, it quotes an unidentified counterterrorism official who has every reason to spread propaganda. The Taliban are killing a lot of Muslims in Afghanistan now, but not al Qaeda. It remains a dangerous terrorist group, but we should not confuse reality with prejudice.
