The arguments are all there, the explanation makes sense, but some links to sources, or even just some expert quotes, would have been nice.

Much of this we've heard before but Sheer pulls no punches in singling out Robert Rubin for orchestrating the deregulation that compounded the financial crisis that followed,clearly indicating that both political parties were intellectually bankrupt when it came to remedies for the financial crisis.

A good rant at the right targets. No action steps are explicitly explored.

Publicly financed elections are needed. That may enable responsible oversight of corporations and the removal of some of the corporate shield provided to financial predators.

Not many new facts but a cold look at who got us where we are. Sheer reminds us that the Democrats deserve an ample share of the blame. Certainly true, but an electoral system that demands huge amounts of cash (without wanting to know where that cash comes from) is the fundamental culprit.
