Posted by Randy MorrowWell, here we go again! I remember all too well the same sort of rundown at the end of Clinton's administration, though at that time it was the right doing the squawking. Perhaps it is inevitable that such summaries lack balance and have the depth of a seasonal spring. This article does serve a purpose in that it can be used as a template for future research, however it fails truly to inform the reader. Partisans on the left may cheer, however reporter Tim Dickinson is mostly just preaching-to-the-choir.
I support the measure that would allow loaded firearms in national parks and favor several other measures that Rolling Stone reporter Dickinson assumes his readers will find condemnable. Perhaps if more attention had been paid to spotlighting the dangers inherent in last minute regulation, this article would have been more effective.
