This report does a good job of helping viewers understand the under-reported link of recent Mumbai violence to the yet unresolved clash between nuclear powers Pakistan and India over the disputed region of Kashmir. This is a good example of the non-profit news model that seeks to analyze reports, absorb key messages and contrast them for fairness and balance--all with the intent of bringing Americans a more global, educational view of the news.

A key segment of the report that appealed especially to me featured Pakistan's media and leaders sending a key message: It is a victim, too, in as much as the more it strives for peace with India, the more warmongers wage attacks to rekindle hurtful, historic conflicts.
