An important topic, but I view this as pandering somewhat to partisan radio personalities, right and left. Clearly the issue is bigger. Rhodes is an obvious choice for a source in this argument; who else does it affect?

Informative report about 'localism' -- a democratic proposal to regulate political talk radio, which is now predominantly conservative. The reporter interviews talk radio hosts on the left and right to get their perspective on this idea, which could potentially have a similar effect as the fairness doctrine, whose repeal over a decade ago led to the boom in conservative talk radio.

This is a brief but objective look that skims the surface of the question of "localism" with regard to talk radio. The issue and competing views are presented in a condensed and abbreviated form consistent with the medium but lacking in depth.
