Good story., but misses the point. That point is whether the people who took the prisoner were negligent or culpable, not whether they did it according to procedures. Worth reading because it shows the same failed logic on the part of government that led to the invasion of Iraq, and the claim that the President is always right, even if he is wrong.

Is it good journalism or a cause?

If I was Bill Gates i would give him a few million, but when due you open pandora's box. I would rather find the people responsible for this barbaric act(s) and send them to prison for the rest of their lives. I agree with your cause 100%, but where does it end, and in reality, the next time it happens, he'll never be seen again.
