Those of us expats who reside in China have already seen first hand the effect of limited employment and low wages for Chinese migrant workers and factory workers. These good people are the heart and soul of China's economy, however their wages and working conditions are pathetically low. It makes you wonder what China has been doing with the fruits of their growing economy the past decade, because it surely hasn't been used to keep their people fed or housed! So when economists spout off gloom and doom stats such as this article, one realizes that none of it really matters because nothing has or will changed for the WORKERS!
