IEA WEO 2008 - NGLs to the Rescue?

In the oil and gas industry, there is a broadly used parameter that expresses the “dryness/leanness” or “richness/wetness” of natural gas. In this post, I document that this parameter is expected to change to dryness/leanness over time, based on an extensive analysis of actual data on fields, areas and regions. I also show that the IEA WEO 2008 forecast to 2030 implies the opposite result--namely that the shift will be toward richness/wetness. Full Story »
