There is nothing about ths story that is bad journalism. Everything is well researched and able to be verified. The concusion, for me, is more about left wing "wishful thinking" than actual fact. Sure the Republcans are going through a tough time but they are far from "death door" as this story would have you believe. Also in the opinion interview a couple of things stand out. * Yes the GOP has only 20% identifying themselves but voting intentions are far greater. Actual races - e.g. Harr Reid in Nevada - show strong support for the GOP candidate. * The commentator states "the GOP have offered nothing constructive when it comes to health care reform". While they have, indeed, offered very little "nothing" is not correct. They have proposed selling health insurance across state lines and tort reform, both of which are serious ideas worthy of consideration. I am a liberal who watches Countdown regularly and is a Keith Olberman fan. However I am under no illusions that both sides of a story is being covered.
