My only problem with this stroy is the pop reference to wikipedia, which actually goes againt the point of the story, as tampering at wikipedia leaves a trail. I was glad to see the writer bring the material to the public's attention and that he then consulted with Steven Aftergood of FAS and with the founder of the Internet archive on the significance of changes to the record. He covers a recommendation for a verification process. Of course, in the current case, the White House would not want to use that process.
