It's good journalism because it tries to thoroughly examine what we aren't sure of (see the last 2 paragraphs) and how we might find out more. It notes the differences between this possible effort and those involving prior administrations. And it seriously suggests that there are lower level people who might be able to provide information which top level people won't.. But will anything prevent destruction of primary and secondary materials - paper and electronic?

The key people in various coverups could have learned a valuable lesson from an old pol hereabouts - it went something like 'if you can say it don't write it, if you can just nod, don't say it, and if you can just wink, don't nod...."
