Wright Speaks Out About Obama, Media

Jeremiah Wright made his most extensive comments to date about Barack Obama and the race for the presidency during a radio interview Tuesday evening.

He spoke for two hours with WVON's Cliff Kelley on everything from being glad that Obama was elected to the way he was portrayed in the media.

Wright insisted that the person that America grew accustomed to seeing -- portrayed in snippets of past sermons -- isn't who he really is. Full Story »

The article gives the Reverend Wright a chance to speak out about himself, the controversy, and Obama without the immediate expectation of a coordinated neocon attack machine hitting him in five minutes. Of interest to news junkies are the statistics of how often Wright got news coverage versus the next closest reverend, John Hagee. Tally: 6146 features for Wright, 583 for Hagee.

Any Indian, afro-american, or Arab-american who does not have questions about the morality of some of the actions of the American government is not living in the real world. Anglos who do not understand that are not living in the real world either.
