The article reflects the opinions of informed citizens, which run counter to the triangulating fearful positions in the rulers club of good old boys and girls like Pelosi. Links to the Kucinich articles of impeachment and Nadler's sense of the congress bill would help round out the journalism.

Why should we call the police in on this criminal? There are only a few more of the family jewels he can steal or burn. Lets be nice to him. He's the last criminal that will ever threaten us......... uh huh

An opinion article that reflects the views of a good number of progressives: Pelosi has been a major disappointment. This story points out that the argument that investigations would be divisive has been used in the past--and (IMO) will probably be used again--in the transition and once Obama takes office.

Authoritarian punishment doesn't prevent crime, especially when the authorities are the criminals. We need a popularly administered dose of the restorative justice that is working so well in Ireland and South Africa. It's time to convene the Truth & Reconciliation Commission on War Profiteering.
