Yes, Obama's campaign was sophisticated and run on a base of youthful energy. This well written analysis of the election ties the event into the giants of past politics in the United States. The placing of the election event in the history of progressive social politics is well done.

"The martyrs and marchers worked to tear down the walls that kept us apart. Now Obama has access to the bridge to bring us together.
