The Prime Minister and the governor of the Bank of England have both used it. The forthcoming UK GDP, or gross domestic production, figures will show a weak performance. So there must be something in it, and the gloom is not confined to Britain. This article is not very informative as to what is happening in the world in terms of the economy. I didn't really learn much from the article except that I wasn't aware that the recession was effecting Ireland as well. There were no sources aside from the IMF's assessment and this article would have been better if it had more sources.
